Learning to dance and teaching others

Today in PE class we made a series of video's to teach our dance steps to others.
The students had to think about the specific instructions they would give and what was essential to teach about that dance movement. They also had to master the technique for themselves in order to demonstrate it effectively in front of the camera.
Here is the video that Harold and Chris made about the Push Back.

After uploading these video's to YouTube, I then used the web address to create a code using a QR code generator.

Here is Harold and Chris' code for their dance teaching video
qrcode

This code can be read with a smartphone with a QR reader, which means I can make posters with these codes and turn what looks like a 2D poster into a 3 D moving poster of dance moves. The handiness of using codes is that they are small and portable, and are more interactive than just a picture of the dance move.
So when students cannot remember what a certain dance step looks like, or they are stuck for inspiration they can use my iphone to scan a code and get some ideas.
This is how we made our Dance gallery come alive.

Below is a finished poster of Grace and Elizabeth and their dance move "Knee Lift". You can see how the still images give some information on the poster. When the student scans the code, they will get the video too.
